OLATHE, Kan. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the tournament field for the 2007 NAIA Women's Golf National Championship Tournament, which will be played May 15-18 in San Diego, Calif., at Lake San Marcos Country Club.

The 120-player field will contend for the individual national championship, while 23 teams will compete for the team title, which was won for the second-straight season in 2006 by Oklahoma City. The Stars, who finished the season atop the NAIA Women's Golf Top 25, will battle for their third title in as many years in San Diego.

In addition to the 23 full teams that will compete in San Diego, seven individuals have qualified to compete for the individual championship, including region medalists Prank Desjubha (Missouri Baptist, Region V) and Nicole Keeny (St. Ambrose, Region VII).

Three individuals qualified as at-large participants, including Marian's Angela Gauck, Mount Mercy's Laura Salmon and Morningside's Kristi Tighe, while two players will return to the competition after qualifying as All-Tournament Team members from 2006.
