NAIA Announces 2007-08 Women's Track and Field Scholar-Athletes



A total of 80 NAIA institutions are represented on the squad

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) is proud to announce the Daktronics-NAIA Women's Track and Field Scholar-Athletes. To be honored as a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete, a student-athlete must be a junior or senior academically and have a minimum 3.5 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale.

For the 2007-08 academic year, there is a total of 281 women's track and field athletes that have qualified for the honor. The ladies represent 80 different NAIA institutions. Doane College (Neb.) has the highest individual representation with 11 team members on the list.
