KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2007 NAIA Women's Soccer Preseason Poll, as voted upon by a 17 member-panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences and independents. Defending national champion Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) received 10 first-place votes to earn the top spot. Martin Methodist, who won the 2005 national championship and was defeated by Lindsey Wilson in last year's semifinals, will enter the season ranked No. 2.
The first regular season Top 25 poll will be released on Wednesday, Sept. 5.
