Leesa Church, of Graceland College (Iowa) has been selected as NAIA Women's National Soccer Player of the Week, for the week ending Sunday, October 15th, 2006.
Church, a freshman forward from North Bay, Ontario, Canada, broke the school single-season record for goals in a 6-0 win against Mid-America Nazarene. It was her third straight double-digit goal game and she currently has 23 goals in 13 games.
