Women’s Soccer Game of the Week

· No. 18 Lindenwood (Mo.) at No. 17 McKendree (Ill.) · Oct. 28 · 5 p.m. CST · Leemon Field ·

This week’s Women’s Soccer Game of the Week is a battle of Top 25 teams as the Lindenwood Lady Lions travel into Illinois to take on the Bearcats of McKendree.  Lindenwood enters the match at 9-1-2 and ranked No. 18 in the country.  Junior midfielder McKenzie Creamer leads the Lady Lions in scoring and assists, with eight and six respectively.  Lindenwood is led by head coach Laurie Kaminski.

 

McKendree comes into this game at 13-0-1 and ranked No. 17.  The Bearcats are led in scoring by junior midfielder Sarah Ryan, who has netted 18 goals this year.  McKendree is coached by Tim Strange, who is in his tenth year as the women’s head coach.

 

These two teams met last October with McKendree coming away with a 1-0 win.
