MERIDIAN, Idaho -- Allie Dufault scored a pair of goals in the opening ten minutes as The College of Idaho women's soccer team equaled the school record for wins in a season, dispatching Cascade (Wash.) College, 4-0, this afternoon (Oct. 25) at the Boise Capitals Soccer Complex.

The win for the Lady Yotes (10-5-2, 6-1-2 CCC) clinches at worst a home Cascade Conference Tournament quarterfinal home game - however, a victory over Eastern Oregon in La Grande on Tuesday would cinch up a first-round playoff bye.

The victory also marked the 25th win for head coach Niki Taylor, who now ranks as the all-time winningest coach in program history - in less than three seasons at the helm.

Just over five minutes into the match, Macy Egerman played a ball to Kelly Hardegree-Ullman, who slotted a ball to the feet of Dufault, who blasted the ball into the net from the top of the 18 to give the Yotes a 1-0 lead.  Just three minutes later, Hardegree-Ullman played a perfect cross from the right side to Dufault, who chipped the ball over the Cascade (1-14-2, 1-8-1) keeper for the two-goal margin.

The Lady Yotes kept the pressure on in the second half, as Ashley Page scored 46 seconds into the period, knocking home a rebound off a Jessica Brotherton shot.  Egerman capped the scoring in the 69th minute, making a long run down the right side, eluding three defenders, before putting the ball in the back of the net.

The C of I dominated all facets of the match, recording a 30-0 shot advantage, including ten shots on goal - while recording all three corner kicks.

The game marked the final home regular-season match for three seniors - Dufault, Martine Troy, and Emily Dickerson.
