Women’s Soccer Game of the Week

This week’s NAIA Women’s Soccer Game of the Week is a battle of Golden State Athletic Conference rivals as the Westmont Warriors take on the Lancers of California Baptist.  Westmont enters the match at 7-6-2 and ranked No. 18 in the country.  Senior forward Amy Lawson leads the Warriors in both scoring and assists, with ten and five respectively.  Westmont is led by head coach Dave Wolf.

California Baptist comes into this game at 13-3 and ranked No. 6.  The Lancers are led in scoring by freshman midfielder/forward Kylee Nicassio, who has netted 12 goals this year.  Cal Baptist is coached by Kristen St. Clair, who is in her second year as the women’s head coach.

These two teams met last October, playing to a 1-1 double overtime tie.
