Dec. 1, 2008

Daytona Beach, Fla. – Lee (Tenn.) got off to a hot start, scoring two goals in the first 20 minutes of their match against the Park (Mo.) Pirates.

Senior Kristina Chase got the scoring started with a goal at the 39:30 mark.  Junior midfielder Jenna Achten added another goal in the 25th minute, giving the Lady Flames a 2-0 lead.

Lee scored another quick goal right after halftime as junior Christiane Christensen scored less than two minutes in the second half.  Kristina Chase netted her second goal of the contest less than ten minutes later to make the score 4-0.  That would prove to be the final score.

Lee improves to 22-1 on the year while Park ends the season at 14-2-3.

The Lady Flames will play again at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 3 against the winner of Martin Methodist (Tenn.) and Simon Fraser (B.C.).
