KANSAS CITY, Mo. - California Baptist Lancers were unanimous choice for the top spot in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) softball ratings for the second straight week. CBU received all 13 first place votes and occupied the top spot in four of the five ratings this season.
Point Loma Nazarene (Calif.) remains in the second position for the third straight week with 312 total points. After climbing nine spots to No. 6 last week, Saint Gregory's (Okla.) jumped up three more spots to No. 3 with 282 points. Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.) remained No. 4 with 280 total points for the third consecutive rating. No. 5 Oklahoma City moved up seven spots with 269 total points to round out top-five.
The sixth regular season poll will be released on Wednesday, April 23.
