DECATUR, Ala. - Mobile (Ala.) advanced in the winner's bracket with a 6-4 win over Point Loma Nazarene (Calif.) at the 2008 NAIA Softball National Championship double elimination bracket.

The Rams' catcher Cristina Rodriguez went 2-for-3 with three RBI while Anadys Suarex and Kelyn Mendoza each drove in a run.  Yaicey Sojo and Jessica McIntyre scored two runs each for Mobile.  Ginger Reeser started on the mound and pitched 5.1 innings for the win while Nikki Madden tossed 1.2 innings for the save.

Mobile got on the board early with three runs in the bottom of the first inning.  PLNU scored two runs in the fourth to cut the deficit to one run but the Rams answered with two runs of their own in the fifth.  Point Loma again scored two runs in the sixth but could not tie the game as Mobile added an insurance run in the bottom of the sixth.

The Sea Lions' catcher Allie Boeckelman drove in all four PLNU runs while Kayla Luttmers scored two runs.

Mobile will take on the winner of California Baptist versus Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.) in the winner's bracket while Point Loma will face the loser in the loser's bracket.  Both games are schedule for 3 p.m. (CST).
