DECATUR, Ala. - Mobile (Ala.) advanced in the winner's bracket with a 3-2 win over California Baptist at the 2008 NAIA Softball National Championship double elimination bracket.

Ginger Reeser started on the mound for Mobile and pitched a complete game for the victory.  She allowed four hits and two unearned runs.  Kelyn Mendoza, Cristina Rodriguez and Yaicey Sojo all drove in a run each.

The Rams got on the scoreboard in the bottom of the first inning when Abby Campbell reached on an error and scored on a sacrifice fly by Rodriguez.  Mendoza homered to the left to lead off the sixth inning to make 2-0.  Jineth Pimentel walked and scored on Sojo's double to deep right to give the Rams a three-run lead.  Cal Baptist put two runs on the board in fifth but could not score the tying run as they dropped their first game of the championship.

Chantal Millard went 3-for-3 and drove in a run for the Lancers.

Mobile will take on the winner of St. Gregory's (Okla.) versus Lubbock Christian (Texas) in the winner's bracket at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20 while CBU will take on the winner of Dickinson State (N.D.) versus Simon Fraser (B.C.) in the loser's bracket at 12:30 p.m.
