KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Auburn University at Montgomery (Ala.) capped off an undefeated regular season with a unanimous No. 1 pick in the final 2008 National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Women's Tennis Top 25 Coaches' Poll, announced today (April 30). The 28-0 Lady Senators received 325 total points to grab the top spot.
Despite suffering its first defeat, Fresno Pacific University (Calif.) received 312 points to land at No. 2. Azusa Pacific University (Calif.), Lindsey Wilson and Vanguard University (Calif.) all retained their previous positions to round out the final top five.
