OLATHE, Kan. - Auburn Montgomery (Ala.) picked up all 12 first place votes as the first 11 spots in the NAIA Women's Tennis Top 25 Coaches' Poll remained unchanged in the final rating of the 2007 spring season.
Southern Nazarene (Okla.) was the first team to find itself in a new slot, moving from No. 15 to No. 12, while Shorter (Ga.) also moved up three spots from No. 16 to No. 13.
Only one unranked team heading into this week's poll made its way into the Top 25, as Aquinas (Mich.) moved in at No. 24. Bethel (Tenn.) was the only newcomer to the Top 20, moving up a spot from No. 21 last week.
The NAIA Men's and Women's National Championship Tournaments are scheduled for May 14-18 at the Mobile Tennis Center in Mobile, Ala. Fans can follow qualifying information by tracking region touranments at www.naia.org on the NAIA's Women's Tennis home page.
