Seeding: 1-8, 2-7, 3-6, 4-5
Hosting:
Quarterfinal contests will be played at the site of the highest seed;
semi-final and final rounds will be played at the highest remaining seed if
there is (1) no host bid (2) a facility meets the hosting criteria.
PLAYOFF RATING/RANKING PROCEDURE
The Region V ranking released on
Monday, November 13, 2006 will be used to determine seeding for the Region V
Tournament. If an unranked team
qualifies through their respective conference tournament, the Region V
Volleyball Committee will seed that team for regional competition.

CRITERIA FOR TEAM SELECTION
8-team
single elimination tournament
The
conference champion and runner-up from the HAAC Conference Tournament and the
AMC Conference Tournament will receive automatic bids to the Region V
Tournament. Four at-large teams will be
selected based on the Region V rankings from teams who did not qualify through
a conference tournament.
