KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The top two teams from a year ago are once again the front-runners for 2007 as the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Preseason Volleyball Top 25 was announced today. National American (S.D.), who rattled through the 2006 season with a perfect 41-0 record, stands as No. 1 in the Preseason Top 25. Fresno Pacific, who was bounced out in four games in last year's national championship, owns the No. 2 spot.
California Baptist, the 2005 champion, holds the No. 3 spot while Concordia (Calif.) is at No. 4 and Dickinson State (N.D.) rounds out the top five.
The first regular season poll will be released on Wednesday, Sept. 5.
