KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Fresno Pacific University (Calif.) received all 24 first place votes and earned No. 1 spot in the first Tachikara-NAIA Volleyball Coaches’ Top 25 Poll.  The Sunbirds received 684 total points.

The next three spots remained the same from the preseason poll.  California Baptist University earned 662 total points at No. 2 while No. 3 Concordia University (Calif.) received 640 total points and No. 4 Biola University (Calif.) received 618 total points.  Northwestern College (Iowa) rounded out the top-five with 587 total points.

The second regular season top 25 poll will be released on Tuesday, Sept. 16th.
