KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The top four spots remained the same in the second Tachikara-NAIA Volleyball Coaches’ Top 25 Poll. The No. 1 seed Fresno Pacific (Calif.) received all 23 first place votes and 653 total points.
The Sunbirds are 10-0 on the season and knocked off No. 2 California Baptist in three games on Saturday, Sept. 13.
Cal Baptist stayed at No. 2 with 632 total points while No. 3 Concordia (Calif.) and No. 4 Biola (Calif.) claimed their spots from last week with 611 and 590 total points respectively.
No. 5 Point Loma Nazarene (Calif.) and No. 6 Madonna (Mich.) both moved up a spot from week one while Columbia (Mo.) climbed two spots to No. 7 and Bellevue (Neb.) jumped three spots to No. 8. After losing two matches last week Northwestern (Iowa) dropped out of the top-five to No. 9 and Lindenwood (Mo.) moved up four spots to round the top-10.
The third regular season top 25 poll will be released on Tuesday, Sept. 23rd.
