KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Lubovj Tihomirova of Madonna (Mich.), Brooke Swingle of Dominican (Calif.) and Kate Boettcher of Briar Cliff (Iowa) have been selected as the NAIA Volleyball Player, Setter and Libero of the Week respectively for the week ending Sunday, September 23, 2007.

Tihomirova, a junior outside hitter from Riga, Latvia, helped Madonna (Mich.) to five wins at the Palm Beach Atlantic Tournament last week.  She averaged 6.50 kills per game and recorded six solo blocks during the week.  Tihomirova was selected to the All-Tournament team and named Tournament MVP.

Swingle, a freshman setter from Sonoma, Calif., averaged 13.60 assists in two wins for Dominican last week.  She helped the team post 0.417 kill percentage and added three service aces and two solo blocks.  Swingle leads the California Pacific Conference with 9.7 assists per game and has a team best 16 service aces on the season.

Boettcher, a senior libero from Owatonna, Minn., averaged 10 digs per game in five matches for Briar Cliff last week.  She had just seven reception errors on 131 attempts.  Boettcher also had four service aces during the week.
