Mary Brunner of Urbana University(Ohio), Erin Cherrington of Albertson College (Idaho), and Lindsay Brown of Virginia Intermont College have been selected as NAIA National Volleyball Player, Setter and Libero of the week for the week ending September 24th, 2006.

Brunner, a senior middle hitter from Cincinnati, Ohio, averaged 5.7 kills and 2 digs a match this week in wins over Mount Vernon Nazarene, Ohio Dominican, and Rio Grande. She also moved into second place all-time in kills at Urbana University.

Cherrington, a senior setter from Granby, Colorado, was named to the All-Tournament team at the Best of the Best Challenge, where she had a season high 63 assists and 21 digs in win over No. 20 Lindenwood and helped Albertson to two wins over ranked opponents, including previously unbeaten Cedarville. She also currently leads the NAIA in assists per game average.

Brown, a junior libero from South Beloit, Illinois, broke school records for total digs in a match (59) and match digs/game (11.8 d/g). For the week she averaged 8.2 digs a game.
