KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Fresno Pacific (Calif.) earned all 14 first-place votes to stay on top in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) volleyball ratings.
The Sunbirds defeated No. 5 Azusa Pacific (Calif.), 3-0, on the road and No. 2 California Baptist, 3-0, at home last week and have won all 21 matches this season. Fresno Pacific, the only undefeated team in the NAIA, has won nine straight matches with out losing a game.
California Baptist remains in the second position with 336 total points while Concordia (Calif.) stayed at No. 3 with 322 points. Biola (Calif.) with 308 points and Azusa Pacific with 289 points stayed in the same spots at No. 4 and No. 5 respectively.
No. 21 Taylor (Ind.) moved into top-25 this week after wins against two ranked teams last week. No. 17 Mount Vernon Nazarene (Ohio) climbed six spots from No. 23 after five impressive wins during the week.
The next regular season poll will be released on Wednesday, Oct. 24.
