KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Fresno Pacific (Calif.) maintained its No. 1 ranking in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Volleyball Ratings for the eighth straight week. The Sunbirds collected all first place votes every week this season.
Fresno Pacific swept two more teams last week and extended its streak to 11 straight matches with out losing a game. The Sunbirds, the only undefeated team in the NAIA with a 23-0 record, have won 18 matches, 3-0, this season.
The next three spots in the ratings also remained the same for the fourth straight week. California Baptist, Concordia (Calif.) and Biola (Calif.) claimed their respective 2-3-4 slots while National American (S.D.) moved back to No. 5 after vacating for two weeks.
Point Loma Nazarene (Calif.) climbed two spots to No. 8 and Southern Oregon jumped six spots to No. 14. Lewis-Clark State (Idaho) made its season debut in the Top 25 at No. 23.
The next regular season poll will be released on Wednesday, Oct. 31.
