Nov. 14, 2007
Listed below are the allocations of the at-large berths into the 2007 NAIA Volleyball National Championship. Each of the 14 eligible regions will automatically qualify its champion as determined through its region tournament. Columbia College (MO) has an opportunity to earn one of the Region V berths. If they do not earn an automatic berth or an at-large berth through the regional process, they will claim an automatic berth as host institution. Please note that at-large berths are not allocated to specific teams but to regions.
Two berths are held as "Wild Card" berths that may be allocated by the tournament committee to a highly rated team that may have been eliminated from championship opportunity by teams who qualified.
The following regions will receive at-large berth allocations regardless:
Region II runner-up
Region II 3rd place
Region II 4th place
The following scenarios list the teams that will accompany the 14 region champions and the four guaranteed at-large berths.
