SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Cougars from Columbia (Mo.) College and Azusa Pacific (Calif.) University will advance to the single-elimination bracket at the 29th Annual NAIA Volleyball National Championship.  No. 8 seeded Azusa Pacific went undefeated in the pool while Columbia finished with a 2-1 record. 

Azusa Pacific swept Columbia in straight sets, 25-22, 25-21 and 25-22.  Jill Baker led Azusa with 16 kills.  Chelsea Daley added 11 kills while Allison Kincheloe and Raechel Jones combined 33 assists.  Columbia was led by outside hitter Flavia Lino who had 19 kills.

The University of Mobile (Ala.) defeated Dordt (Iowa) College in the other Pool E matchup by scores of 19-25, 25-19, 20-25, 25-21 and 15-12.  Mobile will end their season with a 34-5 record and a 1-2 pool play record. Dordt fell in all three of their matches, ending their season with a 32-10 record. 

Whitney Knight dominated at the net for Mobile, posting 23 kills and five blocks.  DeCreisha Arrington also notched double figures with 10 kills in 19 attempts.  Nicole Stokes set up the offense with 46 assists and 12 digs.  Cassy Johnson had a team high nine blocks for the Mobile Rams.  Dordt was led by Kristin De Ronde with 21 kills.
