SINGLE ELIMINATION CHAMPIONSHIP BRACKET

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Pool play completed at the 2008 NAIA Volleyball National Championship and 12 teams advanced to the single elimination championship bracket.  Top four teams will receive a bye in the playoff round and will advance to the quarterfinals.

Azusa Pacific (Calif.), Biola (Calif.), California Baptist, Concordia (Calif.), Fresno Pacific (Calif.) and Vanguard (Calif.) all won their respective pools while Bellevue (Neb.), Columbia (Mo.), Georgetown (Ky.), Lubbock Christian (Texas), Northwestern (Iowa) and Point Loma Nazarene (Calif.) finished second.

Biola, California Baptist, Concordia and Fresno Pacific received a bye in the playoff round and will advance to the quarterfinals.

The playoff round will start on Friday, December 5 with two matches at 9 a.m. and two at 11:15 a.m.  The quarterfinals will start at 1 p.m.

Semifinal and championship matches are scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 6.
