SIOUX CITY, Iowa – No. 2 Biola (Calif.) swept No. 10 Northwestern (Iowa), 3-0 (25-18, 25-14 and 25-17), in the third quarterfinal match to advance to the semifinals on Saturday.  The Eagles will face the winner of Concordia (Calif.) and Point Loma Nazarene (Calif.) at Noon.

Jessica Buffum led the match with 17 kills for Biola while Kelsey Mitchell and Meghan Warkentin each had nine kills.  Buffum also had 11 digs and Katie Stevens had a match-high 14 digs.  Christina Perkins led the team with 22 assists while Abbie Wright had 17.

Hillary Hannon had a team-high nine kills for Northwestern.  Rylee Hulstein and Randa Hulstein finished with eight and seven kills respectively.  Janna Bloemendaal had 13 digs.

The Red Raiders will end their season with a 30-9 overall record.
