SINGLE ELIMINATION CHAMPIONSHIP BRACKET

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – No. 1 Fresno Pacific (Calif.), No. 2 Biola (Calif.), No. 3 Concordia (Calif.) and No. 7 California Baptist all swept their quarterfinal matches and advanced to the semifinals at the 2008 NAIA Volleyball National Championship held at Tyson Events Center/Gateway Arena in Sioux City, Iowa.  All four teams are making their second straight final four appearance.

Fresno Pacific is making its 11th final four appearance overall.  The Sunbirds have captured three titles including last season and finished second twice.  Biola and Concordia are both looking for their first titles and are making sixth and fourth final four appearance respectively.  Biola has advanced to one championship match back in 1985 while Concordia made it in 2004.  California Baptist is making its fifth straight and sixth overall appearance in the final four and looking for its third title. 

First semifinal match between Fresno Pacific and California Baptist is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Saturday while second semifinal match between Biola and Concordia will start at noon.  The Championship match is schedule for 7:30 p.m.
