KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Cedarville University (Ohio) earned the top spot in the first NAIA Women’s Cross Country Coaches’ Top 25 Poll.  The Yellow Jackets earned all 13 first place votes and 493 total points.

Simon Fraser University (B.C.) earned the second spot with five first place votes and 473 total points.  Azusa Pacific University (Calif.) dropped a spot from the preseason poll to No. 3 with 467 total points while Malone College (Ohio) dropped to No. 4 with 450 total points and Milligan College (Tenn.) dropped to No. 5 with 433 total points.

The second regular season top 25 poll will be released on Tuesday, Sept. 16th.
