KANSAS CITY, Mo. - This week's NAIA Women's Cross Country Top 25 Poll sees the same five teams as last week occupy the top five slots. Simon Fraser (B.C.) continues to hold the top spot in the nation. The Clan received all seven first-place votes and had a total of 210 points. Last week, Simon Fraser won the Pinetree Invitational. The team was led by Kristen Kolstad, who finished first individually.
Milligan (Tenn.) is the No. 2 team this week after tying with Azusa Pacific (Calif.) for No.2 in last week's poll. The Buffaloes earned 196 total points. Azusa Pacific comes in at third, as the Cougars had 195 points. Malone (Ohio) and Black Hills State (S.D.) round out the top five, earning 194 and 184 points respectively.
The next Top 25 Poll will be released on Wednesday, Oct. 3.
