KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Simon Fraser (B.C.) continues their reign at the top. The Clan remains the No. 1 team in this week's NAIA Women's Cross Country Top 25 Poll. The team received all seven first-place votes and earned 210 total points, making this the fourth consecutive week they are a unanimous No. 1. Simon Fraser's next event will be the Western Washington Invite in Bellingham, WA.
Milligan (Tenn.) is the No. 2 team again this week, receiving 201 total points. Azusa Pacific comes in at third for the fourth week in a row, as the Cougars had 198 points. Indiana Wesleyan and Cedarville (Ohio) round out the top five, earning 187 and 184 points respectively.
Wayland Baptist (Tex.) re-enters the Top 25 this week. The Pioneers come in at No. 20, their highest ranking of the season. Over the last week, the team won the NAIA Mid-States Classic. They were led by freshman Caroline Karunde, who finished first individually. St. Xavier (Ill.) is also back in the Top 25 this week. The Cougars come in tied with MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.) at No. 22.
The next Top 25 Poll will be released on Wednesday, Oct. 24.
